What Happened to 650rider.com?

650 Rider went offline for about a month at the beginning of 2010. In order to save the technical information that was here, XS650.com acquired the site and brought it back online as a read-only archive. If you were a member of 650 Rider, you will need to re-register at XS650.com

Not sure if you guys have tried this in the past but a few of the other forums i frequent have stickies in each section for common mods and known issues. I think this would be really helpful to alleviate some of the clutter and make it easier to find information.

G'day HndaTch627, we are just waiting on Russo (this is his site) to open up a read only forum called The Vault. This forum will be read only to most and able to be accessed (as in added to) by a few of us.

When either the Vault Keepers or any one else (just let one of the Vault Keepers know what thread your recomending) sees a thread that seems worthy of inclusion into The Vault, we'll edit it and include it!

Hopefuly, this will end up better than "stickies" as the threads will only be modified/updated with relevent info! So as you find some of the great threads on this site, please bookmark them for now, and when The Vault opens (soon I hope) you'll have a bit of work for the Vault Keepers to do!

On the subject of The Vault, unfortunatly Bluebikerblan has informed me that due to changing circumstances he will be unable to devote the time required to serve as a Vault Keeper. This leaves a position in The Vault for someone to step forward and see this project take off! I believe this will be a worthwhile and satisfying position, saving some of the golden threads on this site from fading into obscurity!

If you want to have a go, PM me your interest!
