hello, found this site by accident,thought it looked interesting,i ride an 1979 xs650 (i think you all call them bobber/trackers) well basically it aint standard, shes the dogs danglies to look at, and sounds like the battle of britain coming , also got a 900monster,thats the winter bike, .... cheers xsgirl

had a great trip tony ,the wheather held out and did 500miles, went tue , back next day, off to wales next,will deffo need the waterproofs!! the only thing that viberated off was the horn(bracket snapped) thought i had a problem with the engine till i stopped and saw it dangling off, must say the powder coating is good stuff not a mark on the frame

cheers tony i love it, iv'e had a sachs ,a bandit, a sv, and ive got a monster, but the xs is the one that makes me smile, and runs and sounds like a bike should, if you know what i mean. got my eye on two others xs's on ebay, on in nottingham and one in hertfordshire,trying hard to resist!!

sounds great!!christ knows how many bikes ive had..been on the road 30 years...(ancient)..i do like the xs...comfort...all i gotta do now is modify the pipes internals for a better sound.had a vtr1000 with straight throughs on it...that shook the earth!!lol..good luck with the shiny bike.
