not sure where this should go so i thought i would post it here. I have been talking alot about my bike, but have not yet put any pics up. I took these with my cell phone. Got the bike for free, and have been tinkering with it a little here and there. had 15000 original miles when i got it. I have put on new bars and carbs, and have many other plans for it.

y favorite flavour, burgandy and gold. Keep it original. looks like who ever had it before knew MikesXS. IE the chrome bar cover.
I'll take that back, this bike was probably black and silver originally, still with burgandy and silver, gotta love it.

| There will be no modding on this one. I like the original look. I put the bar cover on. I think i am becoming one of Mikes favorite customers. Going to continue to dress it up here and there but other than that it is going to stay stock. This is the original color as well, as far as I know. Glad you like it.

Glad to hear it. Midnight specials were black, or not? I've seen Special II's and 1981 burgandy models etc. But it was only listed as an official colour in 1978, according to any charts I've seen.
Anyone ever seen the side cover emblem off this bike: unique:

Looks like a 1981 XS650H Special II. Looks like a standard color as well. I have a pic of another saem color and emblems.
