Looking to hard tail by xs650 and have found a few reputable sources such as ardcore- too expensive, g and l- good price good work, tc bros- less than g and l and good work too.

Just wondering if there were any other shops that do a weld on hard tail sections for around 250.

I had found a shop in wisconsin last year, and now for the life of me I can't seem to find them!! Was going to see what it would cost to do up my 78. Maybe someone here will know what the name of that shop was.

You get what you pay for...there are plenty of guys out there willing to hardtail your bike for cheap but would you really trust it?
quality work isn't expensive it priceless especailly considering it could cost you your life.
just something to think about.

the shop that did mine with a jig and has built many a showbike only charged me 250 for labour. Real nice job.

Hey man, just so you know ours are completely TIG welded in our jig. The tail comes completely finished.

i think ive decided to not hard tial it and just have the seat lowered. thanks though. the next project will need one.

we just shipped one to brazil for $80 through the united states postal service. email rich (the owner of G&L) at glchoppers @ msn.com

he can give you an accurate quote on one.
