I put some MAC headers on and about as quite as my stock. I want some thing a little louder. I see there are 2 pop rivets on the back. If I take them off and drill some holes, will that help? Anyone done this?

Rather then drill holes, Id see if I could remove the baffle and take the glass packing out first. All it does is hold moisture and make them rot out faster

Those Mac headers will hollow out in a few months of riding. When I first put 'em on my XS11 the exhaust sounded like somebody farted through a beer can but after not too long, the pipes got a deep, hollow sound to them. Give 'em time, I bet you like 'em better

If you run it hard the glass will remove itself shortly
