Hi again,
I've been having another problem. When the weather is hot outside my brakes seem to be stuck. At night when it cools down outside they free up. Any ideas?
Thanx again, Yamahog

Just a couple guesses:
Could be moisture in the brake fluid. The water would expand more in the heat than brake fluid would.
It's also possible that your drum or disk is expanding in the heat and taking up the space that is normally between the disk/drum and the pads/shoes.

I agree with Jayel. My fron caliper would jam up hard. It would not retract. Rebuilt the caliper and all is good.

if you just changed the calipher without cleaning the resevior and lines all you've done is buy some time it will probably plug again

old thread, sorry to bump to the top.
the bike i'm working on had a similar problem, we loaded it in the truck, it sat overnight and the front brake was dragging HARD. i flushed the master cylinder/reservoir, line and caliper with my favorite brake fluid Valvoline Synpower and she is perfect now.
