Just thought I'd introduce myself.
surfing around the net I found this site, looks like there's some good info. I've got a 81 XS650 special that I just picked up for $900 It's my first bike that I build myself, it runs great and is in really good condition, I'm building a brat style bobber out of it and hope to have it finished by summer. Guess we'll see how that goes.

anyways heres a couple of pics of the bike.

and this is what it looks like at the moment. I've got a long way to go to get it where I want it but Its gunna be alot of fun.

Welcome. Yes lots of great info and helpful people here. Good luck on getting your bike done before summer(my goal as well)and yes post pictures along the way!

Welcome and you'll find lots of good info here. These guys know their stuff. Look thru the members photos and you'll see some great bikes.
