Hi

Can anyone tell me how this damper fits to the frame i have the damper & the foerk bracket but not shore how it fits to frame

Mount one end to the fork using the bracket, or as in my case, the lower triple clamp. Mount the other end to the frame in a spot where you get full steering lock and no interference with tank or forks.

So when you say mount as the treaded bolt is not very long you just drill a hole threugh the gusset section between top & bottom frame tube?

Sorry, left out that I have small brackets that go on the damper that snug up to the frame and triple clamp. Just use some L bend or what ever will work for you. Click on the dampermount.jpg above to blow it up and you can see the front mount bracket, it's the bolt-head on the right. I actually mounted the lower bracket onto the frame down tube.

I'm out of town right now, but can get you a better picture when I get home at the end of the month if you want.

See if this picture helps. You need to make a small bracket to go between the frame and the damper.
