So I guess I shouldn't put these on the restoration forum since shes an original, but a few have asked me about her so here She is. 9505 original, babied, garage kept 2 owner miles. Yes I will sell her. Hit me up, I may take partial trades for an earlier project or cafe style bike. I love her but she's just not me. Just like my Ex-wife.

Yeah I had to take her for a ride and couldn't stand those Schwinn-esque things. THe originals are tucked away in the shop. AS far as I know the seat is the one that came with the bike. Thats what I got from the original owner. HAve I been hornswaggled?

No hornswaggling,it is just that the seat is a 1981 on up item. It is, however, quite possible that your bike bike was a mid-year model. If I didn't have 3 XS 650s already,I'd most definitely make you an offer,as the 1980 XS 650 Special is the most desireable year...just ask XSJohn!

Your bike does look great! I think I put the same bars on my bike, good choice. Good luck with the sale of the bike!

Hey there and thanks! I wish you or somebody did.....I'm staring to shake when I ride it because that shiny front fender just pisses me off so much.......aaarrrggghhh!
Seriously tho, I found myself walking around Wal mart with 3 cans of Krylon flat black and I have no idea why. Please stop me before I chop again!

When you feel the right hand reaching for the hacksaw.......pull the machete out with the left and cut that hand off..........
