So far this board has been what the Impreza forums started out as, a wealth of knowledgeable people all in one spot. So the nitty gritty, my name is Jeremy and I've worked specifically on Honda automobiles for almost 9 years now. I've been working in the automotive field for 12 years now and love what I do. This is my first motorcycle but not the first I've ridden. This bike has brought a motivation I haven't had in a while and my wife is supporting it which only makes it that might better.

the bike is a 1980 XS650( i have no idea how to tell what the actual model code is). I'm the 4th owner but the previous 2 were good friends of mine. The bike only has 8000 original miles so she's still fairly young although somewhere along the way someone painted the fuel tank a hideous gray with some black splatter paint.

Anyhow, I'll be here for a while, asking questions but mostly using the search feature.

Jeremy

welcome Jeremy the VIN will be on the frame neck and the motor number is on the cases behind the lower front motor mount, this will help you find your model
