I know this has been posted before, but no one ever followed up with the posts it seems. I've done lots of searches here and at the proboards site, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
Has anyone put the R1 rearsets on their bike? I just want to see a decent picture of how it turned out, and to see if they can still use the kickstarter.
I was going to make my own rearsets for my build, but if I can use R1's 90% of the work is already done.
I'm not familiar with R1's at all. Do the peg assemblies attach to the brackets so that they my be removed, peg and pedal? Or are the pivots cast into the brackets.
Any help is appreciated.

They probably will not work, I went to a motorcycle wrecking yard and sifted thru boxes of pegs, shifters, and the like. Most of the newer stuff seems in my opinion will be very difficult to use. I found a shifter, and rear brake pedel from a Virago, I am going to make my own. When I get them completed I will show pics. It Might be some time so check back often.
Omar's has Rask rear sets for the 650, around $350 ish.
