I am trying to put some HD muffs on my XS. I have the 1.5" headers from mikes and the muffs are off of a dyna, 1.75".

I bought the emgo three piece muffler reducer from mikes. When I put all three pieces in the muffler side, they will not fit over the headpipe and when I put all three pieces on the headpipe they will not fit into the muffler.

Any advice on getting these things to work?

use 2 of the spacers each side and make some beer can shims to take out the rest of the space ... of course this means you need to make some empty beer cans..... the things we do for our bikes

Yeah. That means I have to stoop down to drinking my beer from a can. and well, they sell it in a six pack, but Isn't it a better deal when you buy in bulk??

yes, but you'll have a lot more scrap left over from a keg and the material is a bit thicker

if it looked straight when you cut it and isn't later it's obviously a defective hacksaw
