What are the two nuts behind the oil delivery pipe there for? I can't find them in a pic in the Yamaha manual.

Those are the 2 bolts that hold the front cam chain guide.

in the manual try looking for cam chain guide. in my 650 b factory manual its at the end of the valve section. just before the pistons. in my clymer book its right withe the pistons.

Why would I have a tiny amount of oil coming out of that seam directly behind those 2 nuts. Which bolts should I check and possibly tighten? The 2 bolts I asked about are tight, but one was a little loose before.

Are you sure its coming from the metal itself? There are no joins there..

There are several possibilities..but its possible that its coming out of the camchain front guide mounts. They are supposed to be fitted with copper washers
