Hi

I would like to have peashooter mufflers on my bike, and wonder about the lenght needed to clear the footpegs.

I have 650se exhaust on my 1977 xs650 (roadster), and planning to cut the exhaust where the muffler begins.

I have the orginal mufflers for my bike, but can't afford ned headpipes.
It's cheaper to buy aftermarket peashooters.

The Special headpipes are shorter than the Standard ones. This sometimes causes clearance problems (at the rear brake pedal) when trying to mount aftermarket mufflers. Pamcopete came up with a neat little mod that helps by moving the muffler connection to the headpipe back an inch or 2. Read about it here .....

You can buy peashooters in the UK with 1 1/2" i.d. , they make 'em for the Triumph T140 boys.

Is there anyone who have tried the Old Brit Style Muffler from Mike's?

It would be nice with pictures as well... Very Happy
