I've been pondering the idea of removing my warning lights from the dash. Mostly just for a cleaner look. anyways, what do you all think about that? good or bad idea?

I removed them because I also removed the turnsignals and the reserve lighting unit so I had no need for the dash. Then I mounted a small green neutral light in the top of the headlight bucket. Much cleaner look now. Some years were different. If your neutral light is inside the tach you wont need to put it in the headlight bucket.............BG

I removed mine ('83sj) because I think it was too bulky also. I replaced the speedo and the signal box with one of Mike's little speedos that has all the lights in it. I also fabricated my own bracket for the stock tach, which I kept. I made it much lower down and a little flatter, which makes it look more natural. If you decide to go the same route, and you get one of those little speedos, don't throw away the wiring diagram! I need the wire codes! Good luck and post a pic with your final result.
