Not sure if this is where to post this, but...here it is. I have a cafe style 81' 650 Special for sale. I bought it about a month ago, and planned to totally restore it over the winter. Bought with 4500 original miles in non-runnging condition. Since I bought it I've put some money, and labor into it. It's now running excellent, and looks alot more like a cafe racer. I've bought a fiberglass tail section, race foam seat, cafe bars, MSR eazy pull clutch lever, and have spent a few hundred dollars through MIKESXS.com. This is my second XS, and it is just as fun to ride as the one I had a few years back. I can give more details and pictures for anyone interested. Email me at zeegilbo25 @ yahoo.com

I'm located about 45 minutes north of Ann Arbor, MI

I currently have a few items for sale online thats why I was confused when you(steveypsi) didn't specify what your question was about. i replaced the following with new parts:
- pod air filters, vent hose/filter, "sump" oil filter/gaskets, right side oil filter/gaskets, headpipe gaskets, fuel filter, fuel line, perf. spark plug wires/caps, all new carb jets/jet needles/needle jets, throttle cable, clutch cable, fiberglass cafe tail, race seat, cafe bars, grips, tail lights

The bike runs great. The carbs have been taken apart a few times to get the mixture right for the mods that have been done. I've cut the stock headpipes, and welded single wall 1.5" straight pipes. No mufflers. Its really hard to beat the sound these bikes make with open exhaust. Needs a rectifier for the electric starter to work. Kicker works great. Everything else works, and functions well. This is a project that I started, and would have liked to finish but... I'm moving soon, and I'm recovering from a fractured thumb so selling makes the most sense at this point. It still has the original dry rotted tires, that still work ok. I've put 200 miles on the bike since I've owned it with no problems. Brakes work great. Have a clean title in hand. Email me for any specifics/pics. Thanks
