Everyone loves piccies...

aybe we should have a "Roadster" subforum, but I guess she's closer to a cafe bike than anything else. Here's my lass as of this afternoon. I'll have to add these to my gallery:

Left Front:

Left; she has a nice stance with the Special rear wheel the PO installed:

Right Front; you can see her Heiden oil cooler here:

Right; imagine pacing her on a two-lane:

Right flank:

Left flank:

Here you can see the two breather filters and vacuum check valves I installed:

And here's a glimpse of the "bib" that's intended to shunt any slight oil drooling to one of the filters:

She's getting there... slowly but surely! Smile

Looks great! What kind of paint did you use on the engine?

Thanks, Ken! Smile

That's just Krylon Krinkle Finish. A PO had dome that, but didn't do a very good job, so I have just freshened things up a bit.

No major frame modifications. Just enough to get my fiberglass seat to sit flat and my 750 tank to mount up level. Also planning on rebuilding the forks, new steering bearings, swingarm bushings, wheel bearings, rubbers, and a light overhaul of the motor. Basically going thru and adjusting everything back in spec and cleaning it up. I've got a buddy with a CNC milling machine that is going to help me come up with some rear sets also. Very Happy

I am looking at using tarozzi universals with my own mounts. If we come up with a good design, we'll cut a few sets.

I know this is an old post but I was going to suggest that you use stainless tie wraps instead of hose clamps on the header wrap, makes a much nicer job. Just my opinion anyway
