650 Rider went offline for about a month at the beginning of 2010. In order to save the technical information that was here, XS650.com acquired the site and brought it back online as a read-only archive. If you were a member of 650 Rider, you will need to re-register at XS650.com

Well it's been a long journey and more to go. I put my motor in, and rewired the ignition. two kicks and she was purring away. Last Saturday I was looking at the bike and told my son lets go. I tie wrapped the wires up, kicked it started, and drove it around the neighborhood. Oh what fun, I forgot what a big twin feels like! I am totaly stoked and can not wait to post pics of the finished bike. My original post "and so it begins" has some early photos, I will post more soon. You know it is very satifying, every time I revive an old bike, It is like it is new. This is the best hobbie I have ever enjoyed. This 650 will be my sixth bike I restored.

1986 Suzuki GR650
1978 Piagio Moped???
