HI
I have the mikuni 34VMs on the bike with the oem XS650 throttle
and I find when i what to give the bike abit of stick in traffic I find that
to get full throttle on the bike I have turn my wrist almost 180 degrees
and then get another and turn it some more !!
will a racing throttle cure this and would you recommend one for the road

The Tommaselli would work. I purchased one through denniskirk.com that was a cheaper model, which is a 180 degree(i believe) single cable throttle.
works awesome with the lighter pull springs on my mikuni 34s.
