I am looking for a good looking Replacement headlight for my TX. The mounting ears and headlight I have currently have some rash on them from where a previous owner laid the bike down. Curious what others are running and would like to see some pics

Doesn't a dual headlight change it from a cafe racer to a street fighter? I always loked the look of a nice big 7 inch round headlight.

Yeah...looking to stay with the 7" round headlight. Was just curious which aftermarket ones people recommended? Also looking for one that has room in the bucket for the wiring.

I just run the stocker. Plenty of room inside and looks right on the bike.

mine is rashed up pretty good, and the rim is bent. Not sure finding a NOS replacement will be cost effective for me at this point

From your avatar your bucket is a blue one? I may have a chrome one around somewhere that would have to be painted or whatever. The chrome is peeling off and its rusty in spots but I have held onto it. I THINK it might be dent free....I'll have to look for it. Shall I look for it? The one on my bike currently is a black one and it is a bit bent on the left side but I have a NOS 76' chrome one that I'm going to put on it over the winter.

If the price was right, I might be interested. But my mounting ears are buggered too. Would powdercoat it if it looked like it might work

I'll give it to you if you want it. I'll see if I even can find it . I just didn't want to throw it away before ..unless SHE has thrown it away. I'll look and if I find it, I'll PM you for your email address and send some pictures. How does that sound?

Sounds good to me! Thanks man! Set my cafe seat and 750 tank on the bike last night. I was starting to second guess my decision to fully cafe this thing out...until I saw just how sweet it will look!!! Will be posting pictures in a bit.

Try a LUCAS type bowl, loadsa room inside , inexpensive (£25 new) and authentic -looking for the caf-racer style , we all had them on our TRITONS..

hey man, I got mine from MikesXS and it has plenty of room for the wiring. I ended up using a set of old Suzuki GS450 mounting ears for it and they fit great. I cut the top of the tube off on the ears, flipped them over and on opposite forks, and this lowered the headlight down about 6 inches or so. It helped make the front end look a lot sleeker. I also put a fairing on it which helped out the look quite a bit. there are pics of the assembled bike in the Cafe forum under "ChopRocket" if you care to look.
