Im have stripped down my front calipers and have received rebuild kits from mikesxs.
The bike has been sitting for 8-10years without use, would the master cylinder need a rebuild? How do u know they require work?

WilsonTypeR,
If the bike has been sitting that long you should consider re-doing the whole brake system.
1. New hoses (usually dry rot out side and deteriorate from the inside), and
2. Rebuild the caliper. (Already have parts)
3. Squirt some fresh >DOT 3 brake fluid through the MC while the hose is off.
4. Replace the crush washers on the bango bolts and hook it up.
If the brakes work and the MC doesn't leak, your good to go. If it leaks rebuild it.
