I've been used to hearing the kerchunk sound when shifting into first, especially from standing still idling in neutral. I'm starting to wonder if it is a sign of poor adjustment...the clutch not fully retracting. It seems like a lot of bikes do it. Do properly adjusted xs2 650 clutches "kerchunk?"
Thanks,
Bsquared.

My bike does the same thing and has always had a finicky clutch. I have never had any issues with it going into gear or grinding though, just solid shifts.

Mine is monosyllabic. It only clunks into gear. And my clutch is not finicky.

Mine "kerchunks" followed by "thank you sir - may I have another?"
Or was it a kerchink?
