Hey everyone! I'm new to the site and to the XS line of bikes (not to Yamahas, though). I just picked up an '82 xs400 heritage special (I know it's not a 650 but I'm planning on trading up after this project, unless the 650 engine fits in the 400 frame?) that I'm gonna bob this summer. It's my first chop and I'm trying to stay simple. I can't weld as of right now so I'm planning on going with struts and cutting the rear frame loop. One thing I'd really like to do, though, is convert it to a suicide clutch/ jockey shifter set-up. Does anyone have any info on parts and procedures to make this happen? Thanks.
