hello to all as im a newbe to the site.
and im going to be picking up a 76 xs next week and im going to be turning it into a street tracker, ive been to the muel web site and really want to do his single front down tube frame mod, but he wants 1200 for a frame, im thinking thats a little over my head, so my question is has anyone done this and if so any info on what needs to be done? thanks and ill be posting pic. of my progress so i hope yall dont get tired of me lurking and maybe i can contribute as well. thanks.

Would think the single down tube would not be as stable.....that's why the went to the double.......xsjohn

the double cradle down tubes are pretty small and the single appears to be much larger

ok i think ive passed on the mule frame mod as being to coastly and just going to work withe frame as is

Have you seen the mule xs in this months Cycle world? Try NO frame cradle!?
