Alright, so I bought this '74 TX650 for $100.
It's missing the seat, side covers, wiring harness is cooked, and has no title.
The good thing about it is that is has the stock exhaust that is black, but dent free, an engine with GREAT compression, stock wheels (with the lip), and the key.

Should I part this thing out? Or otherwise I will maybe keep it and put a weld on rigid on it.

I have enough projects in the works, plus running kinda low on fundage....
I have 14 bikes, 2 of which are choppers, and I also have a '73 TX650 that runs and drives.
Should I post pics?

Hi MM,

Just my opinion, but I think that any time you can keep a bike running and on the road, we are all ahead. Cafe, stock, chopped, whatever---if it runs, it lives. Every year more die off, and soon they'll be as expensive as a G-80 Matchless.

ake it run, ride it, wear it out, repair it, and ride it some more!

BOTH; strip down what you dont need to build a chopper or bobber and sell off the extra parts to help fund the new project. eveyone wins, you get rid of the extras, collectors get to collect.
