I have a 75 XS650 with the old style wheels. I have seen and been told the rotors from the FZR600 will fit the early hubs. They will. I had one on today, but I guess they need to be shimmed out because the calipers would be in the spokes. Has anyone here done this? I am also hoping to find detailed info on the mounting of the calipers. Is there anywhere I can get detailed instructions on the conversion? I am doing a Cafe racer project and this no front brake thing I have going on is making me nervous. My bike had no brakes up front when I bought it.

Thanks, but I don't think so. I have rebuilt the front forks already. I am getting some stock calipers this week or next to buy me some time and hopefully I will get this sorted out. It may take a lot of time. I just think that if someone figured out the specs on the spacers and caliper brakets already, they could sell a few. I think it sounds like a logical upgrade.

Thanks, I have the calipers & assembly, just don't have the adaptors made yet or the spacers for the rotors. I have a rotor that I borrowed from a friend to use for mock up, but I will eventually have to get my own.

I HAVE A SET OF FULL FLOATING ROTORS FROM A FJ1200 1989 THEY WORK WITH STOCK CALIPERS ON MY 73 TX650. NO SHIMS OR OTHER MODS NEEDED. REMEMBER I HAVE 34MM FRONT END NOT THE LATER 35MM FRONT END THAT WAS ON 75 AND LATER MODELS, I DON'T KNOW IF OTHER YEARS ARE THE SAME. THIS IS ALL NEW TO ME TO
