Hey guys. I just took my front wheel apart to get it powdercoated. I put I back together the same way, except now when I go to tighten up the the front wheel, Its on does like 2 rotations until it stops. The bearing seemed fine and I packed em with new grease. I check the manual and im pretty sure its all back together right. I put new seals on it too. Just wonder if that could be the culprit. Oh yea, did the same to the back wheel and that one spins like a top.

Rule #1- (or #2 or #3 depending on your list)

If one meets resistance where there should be none....STOP. Step back, think about it, then take it apart....whatever it is. Something ain't right. If you force the issue you are bound to break something, and it will generally be something that sucks like a stud in the motor. Alternatively it will be something that lets go when you are riding....which can suck even worse and rob you of your life.

That's the rule, now here is what it has to do with you and your wheel.

I'm not there to feel just how tight that wheel is or I might just say let it go.....so take it apart and do it again.

If it ain't together right you could destroy your bearings. Worst case would be a catastrophic failure when your in a turn at speed that decides to launch you into the next world. Humpty Dumpty and all that.....

That's my 2 cents.

Yea, good Ideal, Im gunna pop the bearings out and inspect em. Maybe I damaged one putting em in or taking em out. I got a spare wheel with bearing if I have to junk the ones in this wheel.
