anybody know the part number or how big this filter is? can we get just the filter at any auto parts store?

Auto Pts store should have what you want.......the smaller the particles it filters out the more the restriction..........usually 15-20 percent for paper elements acording to a wix engineer I talked with.......could check the side clearance on the oil pump and put it a .002 thou to be sure .....did that myself and found mine at .0035.....don't remember the post....not hard just a bit of careful sanding on the oil pump cover to close the clearance uniformly if necessary... .and mark the impellers before dismantle so it goes back together the same way....see manual for specs.....posted that 2 years ago....... the tighter the clearance toward factory specs the more pressure and flow........
