I'm new to this kinda stuff., got a roller from a guy who put new mikunis on the bike but didn't give me a manual or anything like that. no even sure how to hook a throttle cable to the carb please help thanks

Michael at 650central.com has full Mikuni kits and all the parts. He sells top quality so if the carbs are from another vendor 650central will have the parts and the knowledge to get them woking. Michael carries the Sudco manual which I think is what you need.

The carbs use a split cable or 1 into 2 cable. There are three cables. One from the twist grip going into a spliter and two shorter cables coming out going into teh tops of the carbs. The ends of the cables are connected to the slide of each carb. You need to remove the top of each carb, watch for spring and push down a little before the top is unthreaded, and remove the slide. The needle is lifted from the slide and the end of the cable inserted, then the needle is replaced. The spring holds the washer / plate over the needle and keeps the cable in position. After the carbs are together you need to adjust the balance of the carbs OFF IDLE to balance the running at cruise.
