I think it will, but want to make sure before I pay for it. only reason why I'm thinking about getting it is because I'm a newbie and chance of me dropping a bike is pretty high... and I want to keep the damage to the minimal.

thanks. another guy said my exhaust pipe might get in the way, but what do you think? ebay listing has ended, but it might get relisted again. I like to get it if it was an easy bolt on, but if I have to remove the pipe, I might just take my chance...

A buddy of mine just lost his leg due to crash bars. A car sideswiped him, hit the crashbar and pinned his foot up against the engine. The kneecap was the weak link, pulled it right apart. The results may have been the same without them, i dunno. One of those things ya wish ya never seen, rode with that guy for 30 some years. It was ugly.

Thanks Jayel! Yeah it won't fit.. Item number: 140126983261 was what I was looking at on ebay, but I will just hope for a minimal damage if/when it falls.

only two types of riders, those who have fallen down and those who will fall down --------- you are right tho' all the safety bar is good for is a slow dump, won't save you in a real crash
