By the time this guy has your tank done your bike will be obselete cause we'll all be riding hovercrafts around outer space. Rolling Eyes

Had work done by him. Started Augist 06'. NO WORD as of yet. Shitty.

Was originally told "Will take a few weeks", then was told "All done aside from the seat". That's the last I heard.... in January. Evil or Very Mad

Do you mean the Tankshop here in the UK?
If so I'll back on this...I ordered an ally tank in 2003 ,was promised it in six months...despite several phone calls over two years & numerous promises of '...yes mate, nearly done...been busy..ready soon..etc...' no tank ever materialised...I gave up,couldnt even get him to answer the phone...waste of time, dont go there Evil or Very Mad

Yup, I do.

John has been shafting people for YEARS.

Save your money and go to Evan Wilcox in Cali. He'll treat you right... for the price. (About 2X What John charges. OUCH!)

Did you pay for the tank? If so and all of this is true, then good job sounding the SCUMBAG alert. That is too bad. He has some nice stuff on his site. Shame.

Fortunately for me I DID NOT pay for the tank and seat, mainly because I had already heard that it could take a long while to get stuff from him.

He was okay with starting the work and taking half payment when half the work was done and the other half when the tank was shipping.

Then I started talking to other dudes that have waited up to THREE YEARS to get their stuff.

I was lucky I suppose - I never sent him any money cos he couldnt prove he'd started it..I was (am) really pissed-off with him cos he hald up my project bike(2 1/2 Yrs) with his stupid lies/excuses ,especially in 2004 when I couldnt go to the IOM cos the bike was tankless... Evil or Very Mad he even put the rumour about that his workshop had burnt down but was frumbled when a journo from Old Bike Mart went up there & caught him out!
Wanker...
