I just pulled the engine out of my first (<--I can already tell there will be more) build project and was wondering what work might be suggested. The engine has about 14k on it, no apparent leaks and seemed to run fine. I don't want to do any major work to it right now but any suggestions since it's already out of the frame would be appreciated.

I would tripple clean the carbs, set the timming if it's points and run it if it were mine. Later but not too much later change the front chain guide and a new chain if it's stretched. From my experiences you'll have it out of the frame again.
