Hi, everyone!
Thinking about putting on some new pipes, and was wondering if anybody has tried those XS-1 replicas or any other pipes from Mike's on their 80 or newer stock Special. Looking for a deeper tone, similar back pressure so I don't have to re-jet, and the ability to still use the centerstand. Currently have stock pipes, but one is starting to rust a little on the end
Am I asking for too much? Anyone with a similar situation or experience? Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jay

I am considering the same setup, mainly because of the header pipes on my bike. In my case I think I'll need to rejet a bit due to single wall construction of the head pipes.
ike- you still around???

I was on Mikes.xs while ago today, and was pricing the XS-1 package. Little bit more than I want to spend. I would really like to just keep my stock head pipes and add the mufflers. Is it possible to do? I really don't want to cut the stock head pipes to different mufflers on.
