Its been a while since my last question( for which I got some good info:thanks!!).My question now is: does anyone make a ready-made "box",for lack of a better word, which houses the necessary electrical components for a chopper/bobber that normally are attached to the frame in various places,so as to hide them and clean up all the clutter(or most of it)?I see some bikes with what I assume are fake "oil tanks".Are they used for the problem I'm refering to? And,if so,are these available somewhere?Any help would be appreciated! Steve

Yes thats what I have seen used, the fake oil tank. I know I have seen them for sale somewhere. I looked around via google but didn't find one. I'll look in the computer at work tomarrow and see if I can find a link to a site there.

These guys at Black Widow Choppers in my beautiful home state of Wisconsin have a Raw steel round battery boxes for metric choppers. The plain one is only $70.00. Not too bad. They also have a lot of other parts for XS650's. Check them out.

I used a piece of 5" exhaust and capped it off and made a door to get into it, welded brackets into to hold everything
