I am trying to wire a single turn signal indicator lamp for turn signals on both sides. I am concerned that the lamp will cause my turn signal on both sides to all flash at once if I try the idea I have come up with.
Does anyone know where I can find an led or small bulb with 2 positive connections ? I believe this would fix the issue my diagram presents.

Here is a wiring diagram for the turn signals. If you use an indicator light between the left and right lamps, that will not cause both to flash because the indicator lamp has a much higher resstance than the high wattage turn signal bulbs:

a LED lamp only works with one polarity, ie. it has a + and - side you will need a regular bulb, petes diagram will work fine with a regular bulb

That's not going to work. The indicator bulb has a very high resistance compared to the low resistance of the two high wattage (27 Watt) bulbs in parallel so not enough current would flow through the indicator bulb to operate the turn signals.

Pete's diagram above is how the early XS's with a single dash indicator were wired.
