Your going to need some timing marks on your new rotor.

Before you remove your old rotor etc, make sure you leave the motor on TDC. Still with the old rotor, learn to find TDC with a bit of dowel down the spark plug hole. Once you happy you can find exact TDC again, then you can remove your old gear & fit the RZ stuff. Proper way would be to use a long dial gauge to get a precision moment of TDC.

Then when your done, make sure again & again it's on TDC & scribe a mark. Then print out this degree wheel (or any other)

Glue it to a bit of cardboard & bolt it to the crank. Then scribe your marks at 15 & 40 degrees before TDC. Well that's the std marks anyway, you might want to scribe your marks a little retarded, like 13 & 38.

A few degrees can make a big difference, so make sure you get it right!
