Hi everyone, I have been looking in picking up much useful info here since October.09. I have returned to the bay area (norther california) and have revived my 1979 xs which had been in storage while I was away in Japan. It was stored for around 5 years, so I cleaned the carbs which were necessary, Painted the tank and covers, changed oil, replaced battery and plugs to begin with. I have just converted to Pamco, but along with the mikesxs order I ordered a head gasket which I am now trying to install to eliminate the ancient leak. Wink At this point of posting, I have the cam exposed, but will study up and take my time.

Mustang Bullit... a friend told me she ran into three French visitors who were looking for chase scenes from that movie...so she gave them a ride through some of the streets before dropping them off on her way to work. anyway, just over the golden gate bridge from san francisco...
