I am looking for the timing advance unit, really just the arms of it. I wasn't thinking and went to check if the nut was tight enough and I snapped the tabs off.

I just bought this, and am really really trying to avoid spending another $70 on a new one. I can't believe I did something so dumb.

Thanks.

Good luck with your search. Ebay may have something.

I've never seen just the weights for sale. There's very little stress on that thing in use, basically just the strength of the little springs to overcome, so if you can solder/weld/glue yours back together it may get you through the summer.

You know, that's not a bad idea. Maybe some J.B. Weld would do the trick.

I really only need two of the weights that I have circled but I would take the whole thing if that is how someone wanted to sell it.

This is what I thought you needed and I do have them. I can't imagine they would have changed from one year to the next. I think I have the weights off both a '75 and a '71. I'll dig them out and send you a pm.

Fantastic, thank you. As far as I know they were always the same.
