Hope Al Gore would shut up and maybe Detroit would warm up a bit more. When I lived in Fla we rode all the time. North Carolina can be a pain sometimes. But not today.

Early January was nice in Michigan but look what we have now. Extreme cold in winter and extreme heat in summer is not my idea of paradise.

I was born in Minnesota and lived in Newfoundland for 4 years when I was young. Spent 15 yrs in Fla 1965 to 1980. Great times with no snow birds. Fla is a mess now. NC is cool but kinda boring. Glad I have my XS to while away the time here. Hope things get better there. Have faith Hillary will fix it for you.

I dont like global warming, Winter is for the big jobs" top ends, total builds, rebuilds, choppers, paint etc. Spring , summer , and fall are for reaping the fruits of the winters efforts. Heck by then these bikes need to be rebuilt again if you ride alot of miles hard. woops Im not talking about a harley am I, Im sorry they just need spruceing a little each winter.

Come on XSjohn...FL a mess...whats wrong with FL? You can ride all year..it's60 degrees here in Tampa Bay....no insurance is required if I own my bike....no state income tax....jobs aplenty in Pinellas county as well as hillsborough....cheap beer....need I say more? Yeah there is a few drawbacks but I would rather be here than there as I recently visited my sister in boiling springs....the day before she moved to FL

Your right I guess I just miss Fl and wish I was there. Used to ride the humps on Datona Beach toward the Space Center and spent untold hours in the Croom near Brooksville. We also used to rider around inside the bomb holes on the Naval bombing range in the Ocala National Forest. I can remember a jet coming over us one day about 100 feet and I guess we were lucky he didn't blast us. They used to chase us out of there but couldn't catch us on our 360s so it was just a game.

From MN originally? I was born in Duluth. Raised in a town whose name I can't mention. I hate the unmentionable town. Duluth was always fun though. I love being close to Brooksville now cause I get my xs parts the very next day.
