Guys -
I expect to have my kit by NLT Wednesday. Life permitting, I'll try to install it this coming weekend. hopefully, all will go smoothly.
I'm presently running replacement stock coils on my essentially stock mild cafe '73, and though I have seen a few piccies around here on how people have mounted their dual tower coils, I'm not quite clear on that. I have two grounding clamps, but I can't quite envision how/where the coil will best mount. I would be very happy to see piccies of how various people have treated that issue with a minimum of fuss.
Thank you!
Also, guys... i know I won't need my condenser, but I'd like to just leave it in place like twins did. Can I just tape up the leads and secure them somewhere out of the way? I can't see why not.

Have a look at my web site. There a couple of pics there showing the coil mounted with the ground clamps.

And, sure, you can just tape up the leads and leave the condensers in place.

Thanks, Pete. I must have missed that link somehow.
I'm looking forward to getting my kit and installing it. I know that even the replacement stock coils are just adequate and I'm looking forward to seeing the effect of a stouter spark on my bike's operation.
