Hints/tips for removing the push on lock clips from emblems without breaking the plastic post/tip/teat?

The round ones are a bugger,but the square ones are easier, spin it as you pull.

patience and a pair of needle nose. Kind of rock/wiggle them off. Spinning per scalejockey is also helpful. Aren't any tricks I know of.
