has anyone got any exp. on painting a fiberglas tracker seat its just dull white and i have put some stickers onto it but since I had the tank done black (before I had the seat) i have been wanting to paint the seat too.
I have some epirience painting.
Because its only a small surface that is visible rest is covered by the seat pad I thought about spray can.
I only want black I know everything shows on black but if anyone know of any good prep info or knows of a step by step website or has any kind of photos I would love to see it any help is much apreciated

Just painted mine, easy. Spray can will probably be fine on the seat, use some clearcoat to pretect from scratching. I used auto grade paint, but probably only need thta on the tank.

sweet thanx well the tank is done already with car stuff could you let me know how you preped it.
I was thinking a good wash and a rub down with 800 gritt
then spray on some undercoat after it dries rub down with a 1000
spray on the colour
spray on the clear and maybie a rub with 1200 if needed and some wax/polish
sounds ok?

As dwyatt mentioned auto paint works well. I painted my XL350 flat track seat using krylon hardhat paint available here in N. america at Home(y) depot.
works well, I've since done 3 races and half a dozen practices and one crash and still holding up!
