It is possible to get a day time only MOT certificate in the UK where you don't need a head light or tail light, just a stop light.

Dont think there is pixie not that ive heard of, lights have to be fitted at all times as far as i know. Ask your MOT man he'll tell you.cheers tweedy

You can get a daytime MOT..All you need is a stop light, a horn and a number plate.
