Wolf......my bike will be based on the second one. I already have the tank,along with other odds and ends but it should look cool when completed.

Gerald........what can be done to eliminate the file name or data? This is gonna take time on this one,it's totally differant from proboards.....Jack

Damn, that's clean. I'm glad you're here and are willing to share with the rest of us. Gotta question for ya. I've read several things about porting that seem to conflict so maybe you can clear me up on this. I've read that you should leave the intake side rough to help mix fuel/air and smooth out the exhaust side to eliminate the turbulance. Wouldn't you want to also smooth the intake side to make for better air flow also? How large should you increase the ports? I'm very interested in this so any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For others who may be wondering as well, Jack sent me this info.

"you want the intakes on the rough side with any head for reason being that any air/fuel miture that falls out the main airstream,is kicked back upto the airstream from resistance from the roughness of the ports. This is a must on the intake and you'll notice no drop in CFMs in large #s. Thge exhaust is what you want smooth to reduce resistance and increase #s to help in scavenge during the overlap cylce."

Jack, I did not see the final report on how the motor ran. Did the porting give the expected results? The flow numbers seem to indicate more air/fuel into the motor which should result in a nice HP increase.
