My 3rd license plate bracket broke today from vibration. What are you guys using for a taillight/license plate set up on your trackers?

Your tail section may be made differently than mine. I made a couple of struts (coat hanger wire) to go from where the bracket bolts on to the license plate bolts. It's just a short piece of wire with loops on each end to go under the bolts.

Irish,
Are you isolating your bracket from the frame with rubber grommets or spacers or washers? If not, this might be the source of your problem. I've had three license plates crack (lost one of them completely) on my stock '81, and I think I've finally cured that problem using rubber washers on each side of the bolts.
Best,
Michael

i used a couple of washers cut from an old pair of boots. they are leather, not rubber, but they work.
