im looking for something that will make my 79 xs650 have more of an exhaust tone to it. right now its pure engine noise, just wondering if there is any exhaust that can get it louder or just better sounding. i have seen the mac exhausts on mikesxs.com but thats about all i know. thanks

Some pretty neat pipes.
Anyone know of a source for chrome single wall head pipes with factory bends and brackets? I'd like a better breathing exhaust and can't see the value in getting the original rechromed if a better alternative exists.

The Dunstall replica's give a deep throaty sound or go to a Brit ralley and but a pair of Norton Comando mufflers, you may have to fab mounting brackets but the rewords of a true, sweet twin exhaust note are worth the efforts and they're less restrictive than the Dunstalls.........Jack

Have you've seen the replica Bonneville bullet style mufflers Mikes now carries Those if built to specs, without that cheap restrictive disfusser in the middle of the baffle, should sound sweet on the XS and I like that style over them all ..............Jack
