My guess is it's plexi (acrylic). You should use an oven. Heat up the plastic while it's setting on a piece of plywood. Keep an eye on it. It won't take long to soften. Place the plastic, using gloves, onto the shape you want to copy. It will drape. Just hit it with a blast of air from a compressor to cool it. To make nice clear windscreens it's a little trickier. Cut an elliptical shape in a piece of plywood for the plexi to droop down into as it heats up. Heat it up real slow so you don't get burn marks in the plastic. When you get the shape you want hit it with the air hose to flash cool it. You can cut all kinds of cool shapes out of droop formed plexi.

I SHOULD THINK I CAN MAKE A MOLD FROM STYROFOAM. DRAPE THAT WITH PAPERMACHE AND PAINT IT HIGH TEMP PRIMER. SHOULD WITHSTAND ANY HEAT FROM HOT ACRYLIC. AND I CAN MAKE A NICE SHAPE TO FLOW WITH THE LINES OF THE BIKE. EASIER THAN CUTTING OUT A WOOD MOLD.

THANKS
