hey all!! just signed up here. looks like a great site. back in the seventy`s i rode a green and white xs1b. really loved that bike but couldnt find one to buy as of late. so i settled for a 72 xs2b. its mostly all there , need to paint and some other trim pieces.
looks like they might be a strech to find. and maybe will have to manufacture.
what i am looking for is a source for the "c" shaped chrome trim that goes on the side covers, as well as a chainguard and turn signals and a grab rail.
the most important to me is the sidecover trim. any aftermarket sources?
thanks for any help in my search.

A bit involved but work with me. Go to www.biker.net and look up the part #. Change over to www.zanottimotor.com/YMINV.HTM and look at the list to see if they have the part. If they have the part listed in inventory that doesn't mean the really have it but there is a good chance. Not done quite yet. Go to Zanottimotor website and click online shopping. Make sure you select Yamaha, the default is HD and enter the number. I bought the last 2 NOS front fork covers for my 79 standard and got them both for $11 with shipping. I thought they were unobtainium.

many thanks to you..and biker .net for putting that info out. looks like i`m too late to find everything. looks like i`ll be hitting the bike swaps ect for ahwile to come. i shure would like to find out if they can be CNC machined. i woulnt think it would be hard to make. thanks again for your help.
