Hey, I've seen your project on a few other sites as well, wish i started with somthing that nice...
how are those rear sets working for you, i have them as well, and i'm having trouble shifting when the bike is sitting, i can get it out of neutral, but my clutch is also giving me problems.
And how is the seat fitting ?? I cut mine up and didn't use the stock hinges or latch. And where are you getting it upholstered. And pics of the finished seat??

Nice looking bike. I like the bobbed fender. Did you decide not to use the cafe seat? Looks good without it. Love your black rims.

GOT TO LOVE CB750 CAFE.COM. I EMAIL TC BROTHERS ALMOST 6 WEEKS AGO ABOUT THE REAR SETS HE SELLS I AM BUILDING A 73TX I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY WILL FIT BEFORE I BUY.
I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING A LOT OF REAR SETS FROM NEWER SPORT BIKES. FOR NOW I JUST WANT TO RIDE SO I AM USING STOCK SETUP BUT OVER THE WINTER I AM GOING TO GET SOMETHING SET WITH REAR SETS. I FOUND GUZZINO'S MOTO GUZZI SITE THEY SELL VERY NICE REAR SET PARTS SO YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE AND BUILD WHAT YOU NEED.
GREAT BIKE.

I think that is the best looking tail section I've seen on an XS yet. It is wider than most of the others, and gives the bike a more muscular look. Well done.

Soll, where'd you get the seat and what did it take to mount it? Can you show us some pics of the frame and what (if any) mods you had to make to fit it?
Also, the underside/mounting points on the seat.

Any detailed pics on how the seat above fits when it's mounted? The ebay one?

wow, both are really sweet scoots. Question, when you guys painted your rims, how did you do it? did you breakdown the rim and tire and remove the spokes or did you just mask them off?
