650 Rider went offline for about a month at the beginning of 2010. In order to save the technical information that was here, XS650.com acquired the site and brought it back online as a read-only archive. If you were a member of 650 Rider, you will need to re-register at XS650.com

hey guys just got a xs650 1978 think Im gona turn it into a bobber
hope to get some help, its my first bike I modifie and want to make it clean hehe
well my first question is about the hardtail , sombody have some caind of plans to make it?

dont know anithing about hardtailing becouse I live in mexico and its very hard to find sombody ho knows how to hardtail a bike

will be very thankfull of any info

Look for some posts under the chopper forum. There are some places that will see you a rear hardtail section to weld on your bike. The rest is up to you. Good luck to ya.
